Job Summary

Operate an asphalt plant efficiently to maximize production while maintaining a safe work environment. Assist with loading operations when needed, perform and oversee daily plant maintenance, and keep the plant clean. Follow OSHA/MSHA and company safety procedures, report problems to supervisors, and help train less-experienced employees. Operate heavy equipment (front end loader and skid loader) and perform general labor duties as required.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate the asphalt plant efficiently to maximize production while maintaining a safe work environment.
•Operate loader at the plant when needed and operate heavy equipment to move, load, and unload materials.
•Ensure daily maintenance is completed and report major maintenance problems to lead-man or superintendent.
•Keep the plant clean and perform general laboring duties when necessary.
•Assist in training less-experienced employees and maintain regular, predictable attendance.
