Job Summary

Build the first production backend services for an AI-native context layer management system. Design and ship ingestion, indexing, retrieval orchestration, and agent-facing retrieval APIs in a multi-tenant SaaS foundation. Collaborate across product and infrastructure to balance experimentation with reliability, and operate services with metrics, logs, traces, alerts, and dashboards. Shape architecture decisions for storage, service boundaries, and deployment patterns as the team scales.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, implement, test, and operate backend services for context ingestion, indexing, retrieval orchestration, API access, source configuration, and system administration.
•Define and build a scalable multi-tenant SaaS foundation with tenant isolation, usage tracking, quotas, audit logs, background jobs, and reliable service boundaries.
•Build agent-facing retrieval workflows including APIs and service interfaces for AI agents, MCP tools, CLIs, and internal applications to retrieve context, provenance, confidence signals, and warnings.
•Partner across product and infrastructure to make tradeoffs between fast experimentation and long-term reliability as the project moves toward production.
•Instrument services with metrics, logs, traces, alerts, and dashboards to understand system behavior and improve reliability; contribute to technical direction across architecture, storage, APIs, and deployment patterns.

Salary: USD 174,986 - 209,983 annually
