Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage end-to-end acquisition process for one or several procurement categories, handling RFI/RFPs through PVet stages in line with category strategy.
  • •Lead supplier selection exercises to support business needs and ensure category strategies are deployed, implemented, and monitored.
  • •Manage supplier relationship and performance, covering quality, cost, delivery, contractual performance, and innovation, with governance and root-cause corrective actions.
  • •Capture market intelligence for defined categories (key players, newcomers, economic and regulation changes, innovations/technology) to update category strategies and supply base.
  • •Support supplier competitions and global contract/framework agreement adoption, using Thales e-Acquisition and procurement tools; identify suppliers needing development and support Supplier Development Team actions.

Key Requirements

  • •Recognized professional qualification (CIPS, EIPM, ISM, MAI) is desirable.
  • •Business, Procurement, Supply Chain or Engineering degrees are desirable.
  • •Experience working in project/program, design/product development with cross-functional teams.
  • •Experience in negotiation projects and/or categories is desirable.
  • •Understanding of acquisition process and operational supply chain strategy, including contractual knowledge (framework agreements, liability, insurance).
