Key Responsibilities

  • •Comply with safety practices and procedures including PPE use, SDS sheet interpretation, emergency evacuation, lockout of litho equipment, and incident reporting.
  • •Set up, operate, adjust, and repair KBA Metalstar steel flat-sheet printing press equipment to meet customer specifications.
  • •Perform production and quality tasks such as coating preparation, UV checks, centerline control checks, defect recognition, and in-process/finished product inspections.
  • •Stage and maintain packaging materials, perform banding/unbanding of pallets, manage disposal/recycling, and prepare/maintain QAD production tickets.
  • •Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshooting, provide on-the-job training, and complete recordkeeping/data entry in L2L, Infinity, QAD, and Dozuki.

Key Requirements

  • •Broad training in a related field usually acquired through high school education, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • •1-2 years of job-related experience minimum.
  • •Ability to discern between colors and read specification sheets.
  • •Working knowledge of assigned equipment and products, including mechanical troubleshooting (hydraulics/pneumatics) and use of micrometers and calipers.
  • •Ability to complete required on-the-job and classroom training, including SPC, and follow safety practices for noise, physical obstacles, and chemical exposures.
