Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide hands-on technical mentorship and help teams understand the chapter direction while driving critical, complex initiatives.
  • •Partner with Engineering, Product, and Data to simplify complex systems, remove bottlenecks, and improve engineering processes.
  • •Drive the RFC review process to foster broad insight into the overall application architecture.
  • •Contribute to chapter vision and strategy by sponsoring key initiatives and orchestrating mentorship across the wider tech org.
  • •Improve overall developer experience across the tech org, including continuous improvements to development practices and effectiveness.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in an Extreme Programming environment (TDD, Pair Programming, Simple Design, Continuous Refactoring).
  • •Experience building large-scale applications using modern programming languages such as C#, Java, or Go.
  • •Expertise in Distributed Systems Architecture including microservices, event-driven, and RESTful services.
  • •Proficiency in automated testing for end-to-end quality and experience with relational and nonrelational databases.
  • •Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and continuous delivery using Trunk Based Development.
