Job Summary

Provide technical leadership for safe, reliable, and efficient operation of critical infrastructure supporting Ciena’s Gurugram facilities. Drive infrastructure reliability and facility improvement initiatives through reliability studies, condition and age assessments, and single-point-of-failure reviews. Oversee maintenance-window activities, coordinate change management and compliance, and manage site projects from feasibility and budgeting through design, construction, commissioning, and closeout.

•Lead safe and reliable operation of critical electrical, mechanical, security, and building automation systems infrastructure.
•Perform infrastructure studies, condition/age assessments, and single-point-of-failure reviews to evaluate redundancy, reliability, and maintainability.
•Develop and govern reliability best practices, standard processes, procedures, and improvement initiatives.
•Oversee critical maintenance-window activities, including switching procedure reviews and execution plans for high-risk events.
