Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee and provide site supervision for construction projects, ensuring strict adherence to quality control and assurance standards across multiple sites.
  • •Undertake earthworks supervision (Level 1), supervise labour/equipment/materials, and maintain safety and quality records.
  • •Collaborate with project teams, communicate progress to managers, and contribute to project success.
  • •Comply with role-specific SHEQ obligations and lead/foster a strong safety culture for staff well-being.
  • •Foster an engaged workforce through mentoring, training, and development, while ensuring governance, quality, and risk management compliance and supporting client needs coordination.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically 10 to 15 years of experience in laboratory testing and earthworks supervision, with the ability to mentor junior engineers in construction activities.
  • •Experience in medium to large civil infrastructure construction with a focus on Quality Control and Assurance.
  • •Experience supervising earthworks at Level 1 (GITA) and Level 2 (GTA) in line with AS 3798 requirements.
  • •Experience in earthworks testing and compaction, including familiarity with in situ testing equipment such as DCPs and (preferably) PANDA testing knowledge.
  • •Strong safety and quality mindset, excellent communication/time management/organizational skills, and computer literacy with Windows applications (MS Teams, SharePoint, MS Excel, MS Word), plus a willingness to travel (4WD drivers’ licence desirable/required as stated).
