Key Responsibilities

  • •Define a 2–4 year vision and roadmap for Crusoe’s storage foundation across storage tiers.
  • •Own the long-term storage architecture and hierarchy for scalability over years.
  • •Set platform performance and durability targets, including storage cost per usable TB and capacity efficiency.
  • •Manage long-term vendor strategy for the storage stack and shape cost structure and capital allocation.
  • •Partner with engineering and architecture on technical tradeoffs, translating future workload and fleet needs into infrastructure requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • •8+ years of technical product management experience, or product-minded infrastructure engineering, owning architecture-level outcomes at Principal or equivalent scope.
  • •Subject matter expertise in storage with credibility to operate as a peer to senior infrastructure engineers and architects.
  • •Strong technical understanding of cloud storage architectures (block, file, object) at hyperscale.
  • •Experience managing long-term vendor strategy and evaluating in-house software engineering investment for storage hardware and software.
