Job Summary

Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) for NVIDIA’s mechanical and thermal components by applying DFM/DFA and advancing Manufacturing for Design (MFD). Partner with hardware engineering, component suppliers, and CEMs to create manufacturability solutions from concept through mass production, including assembly fixture/jig development, risk-managed manufacturability issue resolution, and frontline failure analysis with corrective actions. Identify yield and cycle-time improvements through system assembly automation analysis and testing readiness.

•Perform detailed DFM/DFA analysis and work with hardware development to deliver manufacturing solutions.
•Lead identification and resolution of manufacturability challenges affecting manufacturing readiness using risk management.
•Collaborate with mechanical/thermal suppliers and CEMs to define manufacturing specifications and expectations.
•Develop assembly fixtures and jigs; analyze and validate assembly processes step-by-step for quality and efficiency.
•Address production issues through failure analysis, corrective actions, manufacturing R&D, and support manufacturing-for-design technology readiness.

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.

•Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Creo) and knowledge of manufacturing technologies, thermal challenges, and basic electrical circuits.
•Solid understanding of mechanical/thermal testing and inspection methods and instruments.
