Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee visual and technical creation and standards for environments, maintaining quality across the project’s global artist team.
  • •Maintain and mentor artists on established workflows and best practices.
  • •Prioritize and assign tasks and initiatives to the team, aligning with Directors, Designers, Production, and Outsourcing Managers.
  • •Research and incorporate latest techniques and industry standards for environment creation.
  • •Work with Tools, Engine, and Tech art counterparts to develop new workflows or improve tools and technologies; create documentation and provide feedback to internal and external artists.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of industry experience creating realistic environments for 3rd-person games as a Senior Artist or in an Art Leadership position.
  • •3+ years in a leadership position supervising artists creating realistic environments.
  • •Advanced skills in Unreal Engine and Maya.
  • •Strong understanding of working with build kits and large world construction methods, both technically and visually.
  • •Strong collaboration with production and designers to align gameplay vs. visual expectations and meet deadlines.
