Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the full contract lifecycle for high-value customer contracts for data centre projects, from initial terms negotiation through close-out and dispute resolution.
  • •Act as primary legal business partner to sales and project delivery teams, providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice throughout deal stages.
  • •Lead negotiations with hyperscalers, colocation operators, main contractors, and large enterprise customers.
  • •Develop and maintain the company’s standard contract framework (customer terms, supply chain terms, NDAs, teaming agreements) and drive contracting process improvements.
  • •Oversee post-execution contract management (variations and claims) and manage external counsel for specialist advice.

Key Requirements

  • •Legal degree and qualified lawyer required.
  • •At least 10 years’ legal experience in contract drafting and negotiation (law-firm and/or in-house).
  • •Proven track record negotiating and closing complex, high-value B2B contracts (ideally in data centre, technology infrastructure, or industrial supply).
  • •Deep expertise in risk allocation (liability frameworks, warranties, liquidated damages, indemnities, step-in rights, termination).
  • •Fluent in English; experience managing external counsel effectively and cost-consciously.
