Job Summary

Manage the Quality Management System and customer quality flow-down requirements for the STaRS program under the Surveillance & Tactical Radar Solutions product area. Plan and administer customer and internal quality requirements for the program team and supply base, conduct technical reviews and traceability via TIMs, lead corrective actions and failure boards, and assess program technical risk across safety, reliability, testing, and trends. Review and approve key engineering documentation and interface with program, suppliers, customers, and government representatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure inspect ability, testability, and producibility are addressed early and traceability flows down to lower-level requirements.
•Lead technical reviews and Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) focused on requirements traceability.
•Guide Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA) and Failure Review Boards (FRBs) through systemic failure review and corrective action items.
•Provide an integrated perspective of technical risk, considering criticality, system safety, reliability, test and evaluation criteria, and adverse trends.
•Review and approve engineering program documentation (specifications, requirements, drawings, test plans, procedures/instructions, and SOPs) prior to release; interface with program, suppliers, customers, and government representatives.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five (5) years in Quality, Mission Assurance, or Engineering.
•Experience with Quality Management Systems ISO 9001 or AS9100.
•Working experience in Industry and Government Mission Assurance requirements and standards.
•Experience in Risk & Opportunity Management including assessment, mitigation, and capture.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
