Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform required daily electrical maintenance and routine preventative maintenance to support continuous operations.
  • •Monitor equipment condition across the assigned plant and report non-conformances to the Electrical Engineer/Electrical Supervisor.
  • •Respond to electrical failures, troubleshoot causes (e.g., transformers, motors, relays, switches, control/monitoring devices), and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
  • •Update the maintenance logbook with details of work performed, including faults, problems, findings, and equipment conditions.
  • •Check spare parts stock levels to support effective inventory control, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and site-specific TQP requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Carry out daily and routine preventative electrical maintenance according to the set schedule and ACWA NOMAC procedures.
  • •Diagnose electrical faults using tools (e.g., wiring/circuit diagnostics), and perform repair and testing.
  • •Read and understand technical manuals and wiring diagrams to prepare and execute maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • •Align, adjust, and calibrate equipment to specifications and maintain records of repairs, calibrations, and tests.
  • •Comply with relevant HSE/FS procedures, identify hazards, and correct hazardous conditions promptly.
