Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the Contracting Entity’s representative and manage a group of projects from planning and design through completion and commissioning, delivering safely to time, budget, and specification.
  • •Oversee delivery performance across schedule, interface, cost, variations, contract, and risk; develop and align the Project Execution Plan to standards and methods.
  • •Manage the performance of a team of Project Managers, including day-to-day oversight, resourcing plans, reporting, and working with the Programme Director to address delivery issues.
  • •Lead project coordination across the lifecycle, manage design consultants and external providers, organise design review meetings, communicate design acceptance/changes, and maintain the Responsible/Accountable/Consulted/Informed task tracker.
  • •Maintain project governance including the overall risk register, update controls at monthly progress meetings, manage the change control process, and report monthly on lifecycle tasks (including construction phase activities).

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 15 years experience in the Construction / Infrastructure sector, including relevant aviation and/or similar projects.
  • •Strong technical proficiency across project tools (MS Office, BIM, SharePoint, Primavera P6) with solid understanding of construction processes and documentation.
  • •Experience operating on a live airport site and being on-site (not just office based).
  • •Knowledge of operating as a client’s project manager and a track record of delivering construction/asset delivery projects to time and within budget.
  • •Ability to document best-practice construction project management policies and standards, and to influence improvements across stakeholders at all levels.
