Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a senior technical resource, providing advice on key building components including stability design, basements, structural steel framing and connections.
  • •Lead the design of economic post-tensioned concrete floors and apply delivery experience across construction materials.
  • •Manage and develop design and delivery procedures to enable high-quality, cost-effective work by other team members.
  • •Perform quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings and prepare technical specification sections.
  • •Participate in multidisciplinary engineering reviews of deliverables and contribute input to engineering budgets and schedules.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Engineering and 13+ years delivering complex, varied structural engineering projects across building typologies in Australia/New Zealand.
  • •Ability to autonomously provide specialised structural technical input from conceptual through to detailed design.
  • •Experience or interest in mass timber designs.
  • •Advanced digital workflows and proficiency with ETABS, RAM Concept, RAPT and SpaceGASS to achieve optimised design outcomes.
  • •Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
