Job Summary

Support the Rail Systems engineering team in Madrid by creating and managing BIM models and parametric families for rail infrastructure installations. Build geolocalised models with shared/project parameters, produce standards-compliant drawings, and implement the BIM Execution Plan (BEP). Participate in BIM coordination and clash-detection meetings, support design submissions, and ensure interfaces are detected and resolved. Strong Bentley Systems (MicroStation) expertise is required.

•Support the engineering team in understanding project installations and resolving interfaces.
•Create BIM models from scratch (geolocalised) including project/shared parameters, linking other disciplines, and creating worksets.
•Create and manage parametric families for rail system components such as conduits, cable tray, ducts, electrical/mechanical equipment, and communication devices.
•Produce drawings using view templates, filters, titleblocks, sheet lists, and print under project standards.
•Attend BIM meetings (BEP, clash detection, coordination) and participate in design submissions with the engineering team.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 2-5 years of experience, including at least 2 years working with Bentley Systems (MicroStation) and related capabilities like Types of models, Callouts, and Open building.

•Good 2D skills for drawings, diagrams, and technical details.
•Knowledge of Revit and AutoCad.
•Positive experience with BIM 360, ACC, Navisworks, and automation skills using Dynamo (or other tools), plus teamwork and willingness to help; English B2/C1.
