Key Responsibilities

  • •Own supplier quality performance by establishing quality requirements and monitoring KPIs, scorecards, and risks with mitigation plans.
  • •Drive supplier qualification and development through quality assessments, process audits, capability evaluations, and targeted improvement plans.
  • •Partner on New Product Introduction (NPI) by reviewing drawings and CTQs, driving DFM/DFA/DFR reviews, leading process validation, and approving FAI/FAIR and PPAP submissions.
  • •Lead nonconformance investigations and corrective/preventive actions (8D, CAPA, RCCA), verify effectiveness, and track closure to prevent recurrence.
  • •Plan and execute risk-based supplier audits, implement prevention-focused controls (SPC, mistake-proofing, standardized work), and manage incoming quality support and supplier change management.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
  • •3+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, Quality Engineering, or a related field working with manufacturing suppliers and subcontractors.
  • •Strong knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving methodologies including PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, 8D/RCCA, CAPA, and process audits.
  • •Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, technical specifications, and inspection requirements.
  • •Strong analytical skills to evaluate process capability and statistically analyze complex manufacturing defects.
