Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design of complex mechatronic systems involving BLDC, stepper, and servo motors, providing system and design guidelines.
  • •Architect integrated motion systems combining sensors, actuators, drives, and controllers for industrial machines.
  • •Specify and optimize motor drives/actuator systems and develop/tune motion-control algorithms (PID/FOC) with embedded software.
  • •Model, simulate, and prototype using MATLAB/Simulink and CAE tools; conduct testing, debugging, and root-cause analysis with supplier coordination.
  • •Design gear train/transmission systems and ensure validation, reliability, DFM/DFA, compliance, and cross-functional communication across development stages.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 15 years of mechatronic design experience focused on motorized and gear-based systems.
  • •Strong knowledge of BLDC/Stepper motors, drivers/power stages, feedback devices (incremental/absolute encoders, resolvers), and motion control fundamentals.
  • •Hands-on experience with AGMA/ISO gear design and analysis, tolerance analysis, bearing selection/preload, shaft/housing stiffness, and NVH basics.
  • •Experience with test and measurement tools (power analyzers, oscilloscopes, torque/force sensors, accelerometers, spectrum analyzers, dynamometer test benches) and relevant ISO/IEC & UL/CE standards.
