Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide advice and effective challenge on compliance risks impacting network and merchant businesses through formal and informal engagements.
  • •Develop expert-level understanding of network and merchant business processes and analyze applicability of laws and regulations using the global legal inventory.
  • •Proactively identify trends in business data and emerging network payments compliance risks.
  • •Collaborate with first and second line functions to evaluate risk management program framework applicability and educate/influence colleagues and leaders on nuanced considerations.
  • •Ensure compliance requirements are applied to business expansions, new products, downstream entity engagement, and card acceptance opportunities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 193,800 - 221,200 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree or military experience.
  • •At least 3 years of experience developing, evaluating, or implementing technology or risk assessment activities.
  • •At least 8 years of legal, compliance, or risk management experience, or at least 7 years of regulatory experience in consumer financial services or payments.
  • •Successful track record in a highly regulated, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • •Understanding of key regulatory requirements and the three lines of defense risk management framework.
