Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage environmental inputs to EIA deliverables (Screening/Scoping, EIA Reports, Environmental Considerations Reports) including technical review of specialist chapters.
  • •Contribute across project life stages from early client engagement and strategy/site identification through feasibility, optioneering, outline/detailed design, conditions discharge, construction, and operation/maintenance.
  • •Ensure deliverables meet the highest quality standards with a critical eye for detail.
  • •Use project management skills to manage resources and budgets, and coordinate integrated design teams to identify constraints, avoidance/mitigation solutions, and benefits.
  • •Manage client relationships and internal supply teams while promoting AECOM’s environmental services and leading business development and proposal development.

Key Requirements

  • •Interest and experience managing and coordinating multidisciplinary environmental inputs to infrastructure development projects.
  • •Excellent understanding of EIA processes, environmental assessment methods, and applicable planning legislation.
  • •Detailed understanding of relevant Ireland consenting and licensing regimes.
  • •Experience providing consultancy services and confidence engaging with a wide variety of stakeholder groups.
  • •Degree in a relevant environmental discipline (preferably a Master's) and appropriate professional membership (Chartered Environmentalist status or working towards it).
