Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, upgrade, patch, and implement changes for database systems when required.
  • •Diagnose and resolve database errors to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • •Manage database access and backups, ensure compliance with database and security standards, and support business continuity planning and capacity forecasting.
  • •Provide incident, request, change, and problem management support for database operations and ensure SLA targets are met.
  • •Monitor performance proactively, perform performance tuning and case analysis to prevent recurring issues, and develop automation/process improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics/Computer/Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • •Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience (4+ years may qualify for a senior position).
  • •Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases, plus Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • •Strong command of SQL and SQL Server tools.
  • •Experience with scripting/programming languages such as Java, PowerShell, and Python, along with effective communication and analytical/problem-solving skills.
