Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide high level technical assistance and guidance for due diligence, investigation, remediation, impact assessment, permitting, and design/development/construction of utility, industrial, and commercial-scale projects.
  • •Develop drawings and specification documents for issuance to architects, contractors, and building owners.
  • •Project manage cross-functional engineering teams, including budgets, tracking hours/expenses, task completion, permit applications, construction documentation, and technical/regulatory analysis memos.
  • •Design primary electrical power and emergency power systems, including fire alarm and life safety systems and lighting/lighting control systems.
  • •Supervise and mentor younger engineers and provide construction administration and stakeholder/regulatory agency engagement.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering.
  • •7+ years of relevant post-education experience designing electrical systems in industrial/pharmaceutical, labs, commercial, institutional/higher education, healthcare, or similar facilities.
  • •Professional engineering license required.
  • •Extensive knowledge of electrical building design and the application of permitting and project work-related issues.
  • •Proficiency with electrical system studies and related analysis tools (e.g., SKM, EasyPower, ETAP, and AGI32) and MS Office.
