Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete a 6-month entry-level MIT program with hands-on training in a distribution warehouse.
  • •Receive training in operations, management, and purchasing, including duties across every distribution center area.
  • •Observe experienced employees to learn methods, procedures, and performance standards for success.
  • •Shadow contractors/builders, service/maintenance, and retail store customers to understand the swimming pool, irrigation, and landscaping business.
  • •Participate in classroom training sessions at the EDGEucation Center and deliver a comprehensive presentation to senior management for program completion.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations, or related field with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
  • •Leadership and/or problem-solving work experience; alternatively, relevant distribution/supply chain internships, organizations/clubs, volunteer work/community service, athletics, or military leadership.
  • •Ability and desire to work in a distribution warehouse environment.
  • •Results-driven self-starter with strong leadership skills and the ability to lead/develop a team with rapidly changing priorities.
  • •Willingness and ability to relocate during/after the program (company expense) and travel 25% of the time.
