Lead through design/code reviews and mentoring, collaborating with SRE/DevOps on observability and production monitoring for systems running on AWS with Kafka, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Debezium, and Spring Boot.

Key Responsibilities

•Write, review, and debug production-quality Java code as a core day-to-day contributor.
•Lead design and development of scalable, high-performance Java services and APIs.
•Own the performance engineering strategy: define performance requirements, SLAs/SLOs, and validate under load.
•Design, build, and execute performance test suites and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
•Mentor engineers and lead through performance-first design/code reviews while collaborating with SRE/DevOps on monitoring and production performance.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of hands-on Java (Java 11/17+) and JVM development, actively coding in the codebase.
•Designing and operating modern cloud distributed systems at scale on AWS.
•Hands-on expertise with Kafka, including event streaming and tuning for high-volume throughput.
•Experience building services with Spring Boot REST APIs and performing performance testing and validation programs.
•Strong profiling/diagnostics and JVM internals expertise, including garbage collection tuning, memory management, and concurrency.
