Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate various types of automotive trucks to haul stone, earth, waste lubricants, fuel, water, supplies, and store materials.
  • •Adhere to MSHA/OSHA/DOT and site safety rules and complete daily safety assignments (risk assessments, workplace exams, pre-shifts, JSA’s, TRACK).
  • •Perform pre-shift safety inspections on equipment before operating and inspect berms, stockpiles, and dump areas for stability and hazards.
  • •Ensure proper loading and dumping practices to prevent spillage, contamination, and injury in congested areas.
  • •Maintain truck readiness by determining and adding fuel/coolants/lubricants/ignition aids as needed, lubricating, servicing, and reporting vehicle condition.
