Job Summary

Lead and manage delivery of building certification projects and competitive bids, providing expert technical guidance on BREEAM, WELL, and related schemes. Support clients with decarbonisation targets, low-carbon design recommendations, and strategic advice during early design. Analyse datasets, produce technical summaries and reports, present outcomes to clients, and mentor junior consultants while strengthening internal quality assurance and team capability.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and manage delivery of building certification projects and competitive bids.
•Provide expert technical guidance on BREEAM, WELL, and other environmental performance certification schemes.
•Support clients with decarbonisation targets and practical pathways, recommending low-carbon design measures.
•Analyse datasets and produce concise technical summaries and detailed technical reports, presenting findings to clients.
•Mentor junior consultants, oversee internal quality assurance, and coordinate with clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Requirements

•Degree (or equivalent) in engineering, architecture, building services, or a related discipline.
•Strong, demonstrable expertise in building certification schemes, including deep knowledge of BREEAM and WELL.
•5+ years’ experience in sustainability consulting within the built environment.
•Licensed BREEAM Assessor, with the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams through certification processes.
•Experience preparing and leading tenders/proposals, plus strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
