Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise payroll, equity, HR, and accounting teams on payroll tax legislative changes and global payroll tax policy.
  • •Review payroll tax calculations, document technical positions, and identify opportunities for refunds to de-risk positions.
  • •Lead internal and external global payroll tax audits by responding to information requests, communicating positions, and remediating exposures.
  • •Collaborate with HR, Finance, Accounting, Equity Administration, Legal, and Benefits on initiatives including employee vs. EOR decisions and new entity creation.
  • •Support M&A due diligence/integration and improve payroll tax reporting processes in collaboration with the Finance Data team.

Salary: USD 128,800 - 221,450 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • •5+ years of payroll tax experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of US federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
  • •Knowledge of international payroll tax regulations and equity compensation tax matters.
  • •Experience with payroll systems and tax filing platforms (SAP, NetSuite, Workday preferred) and payroll tax audits/negotiations with revenue authorities.
