Job Summary

Safely operate haul trucks, loaders, and other heavy equipment to haul, load, transport, and dump ash and related materials. Ensure ash is managed in compliance with environmental, safety, and operational standards to support plant efficiency. Perform daily pre-shift inspections, routine maintenance checks, keep time and material records, follow written and verbal instructions, and report equipment, maintenance, or safety issues promptly while working in varying outdoor conditions.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate haul trucks, loaders, and other heavy equipment for ash transport and material handling safely and efficiently.
•Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on equipment.
•Load, haul, and dump ash to designated disposal or storage locations following established procedures.
•Keep time and material records and follow verbal and written instructions.
•Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, or safety issues immediately, maintaining clean work areas and safe traffic patterns.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required, with 1-2 years of related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
•Ability to communicate effectively using a two-way radio.
•Ability to safely load, haul, and dump ash to designated disposal or storage locations following established procedures.
•Valid driver’s license is required; incident-free driving record preferred.
•Experience in aggregates, cement, power plant, or industrial hauling environments; MSHA or OSHA training certification preferred.
