maintenance mechanic I

Perform basic preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, tools, and building systems while assisting the Maintenance Department with machine and building repairs. Support woodworking equipment maintenance (including infeed/outfeed systems), hand tools, and forklifts using diagrams, manuals, and manufacturer specs. Order required parts and supplies, maintain maintenance/repair records, follow safety procedures, keep the work area clean, and contribute to safety and continuous improvement programs.
