Key Responsibilities

•Analyze new product requirements, prepare designs, and develop robust, scalable, data-driven software applications and features.
•Create design specifications for the rewarding engine software and its algorithm to improve real-time processing and mapping payments to promotions or campaigns.
•Design and develop a highly available, scalable Rewards diagnostic tool using Java and Spring Boot for visibility into the rewarding platform.
•Perform software analytics, development, testing, and maintenance for PayPal’s core technology platform and lead product design and code reviews.
•Develop automated component tests and deliver production-ready code in a continuous integration and delivery environment while driving architecture discussions and proposing solutions to system and product changes.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 189,592 - 300,500 annually

•Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

•Use object-oriented programming and advanced object-oriented design/development principles to build robust, scalable, data-driven software applications and features.
•Design and architect microservices and build software in a continuous integration and delivery environment.
•Proficiency with Java and Spring Boot along with testing practices (unit, functional, and integration tests).
