Key Responsibilities

  • •Co-design a sustainable, scalable Finance Data Platform by shaping the future-state architecture and migration approach.
  • •Assess the existing SAP BW landscape (data models, transformations, process chains, routines, and queries) to pinpoint technical debt, redundancy, and performance bottlenecks.
  • •Lead technical design for BW remediation, simplification, and modernization work, deciding what to retain, refactor, migrate, or decommission.
  • •Design and implement robust, well-documented data models and transformation logic, including monitoring and data quality checks/cleansing.
  • •Own run activities: document key objects and dependencies, conduct root-cause analysis for defects and reconciliation breaks, support ad-hoc finance data analysis, and apply AI/automation to improve coding and platform standards.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Informatics, or a related field.
  • •10+ years of professional experience with SAP BW and BW/4HANA, enterprise data warehousing, and SAP- and Azure-based data integration.
  • •Hands-on expertise in BW modelling (e.g., ADSOs, CompositeProviders, transformations, DTPs, process chains, queries) and SAP data extraction (standard/custom extractors, delta handling).
  • •Ability to reverse-engineer and document complex, poorly documented legacy landscapes.
  • •Strong English communication skills for explaining technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
