Job Summary

Provide deep technical expertise during the sales cycle for Sonar’s AI code review and verification platform. Help prospects understand the “Clean as You Code” approach, drive pre-sales technical presentations and demos, troubleshoot issues during evaluations, and support product adoption post-purchase. Partner with Customer Success and Support, and provide technical enablement to channel partners while helping customers align Sonar with their deployment strategy.

Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Help prospective customers understand how Sonar’s Clean as You Code approach fits into their software development life cycle.
•Drive the technical aspects of pre-sales opportunities through presentations, demonstrations, and supporting product evaluations.
•Advise customers on aligning Sonar with their preferred deployment strategy and troubleshoot technical issues encountered during evaluation.
•Support successful product adoption after purchase by working with Customer Success and Support teams and helping customers understand advanced edition capabilities.
•Provide technical enablement to channel partners to raise their level of service.

Key Requirements

•Some practical experience in software development or DevOps engineering is highly desirable.
•Familiarity with both local and cloud-based deployment platforms and technologies, including Linux, Windows, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure.
•Ability to dive into complex technical problems, troubleshoot, develop solutions, and articulate them verbally and in writing.
•Proven ability to work in a team by receiving and giving feedback and sharing knowledge.
•Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; German is desirable.
