Job Summary

Lead air quality permitting and environmental compliance projects for clients across Texas and surrounding states. Prepare and manage complex permitting support, advise clients on federal and state regulatory applicability, and coordinate with state agencies, the EPA, legal teams, and technical staff. Calculate emissions, evaluate control technologies, support QA/QC, and mentor technical professionals. Drive practice growth through business development, client engagement, and technical publications.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare proposals for air quality permitting and environmental support projects.
•Manage complex air quality permitting and compliance service tasks for clients.
•Advise clients on federal and state regulatory applicability and develop compliance strategies and systems.
•Interface with state air quality agencies and the EPA; support clients through public meetings and hearings.
•Calculate emissions, evaluate air emissions control technologies, perform QA/QC, and mentor technical staff.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related science/engineering discipline.
•10+ years of air permitting and compliance experience, preferably in Texas.
•Experience interpreting and developing compliance strategies for State and Federal air quality regulations.
•Strong communication skills, including technical writing and presentations with direct client interaction.
•Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%, and a valid State driver’s license.
