Key Responsibilities

  • •Handle complex new and renewal domestic Environmental Casualty accounts and act as a subject matter expert.
  • •Administer and monitor underwriting rules and guidelines, insurance laws/regulations, and rating annual rules.
  • •Develop and maintain relationships with select brokers/distributors to support retention and acquisition and determine insurance needs.
  • •Support the sales culture by serving as a help point for agents, brokers, and customers.
  • •Proactively seek renewal and new account opportunities through detailed opportunity assessments and broker/customer/on-sight calls.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100,000 - 215,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) with 5+ years in underwriting or market-facing (Executive Underwriter) or 7+ years (AVP, Underwriting Director), or equivalent Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice pathways with underwriting/claims experience.
  • •Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • •Experience working under time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business.
  • •Experience working in a team environment.
  • •Technical knowledge of Environmental Casualty underwriting (preferred).
