Job Summary

Coordinate thematic business risk governance and analytics with regional stakeholders, including financial crime and sanctions teams. Develop thematic inquiries, assess data outputs, and conduct deep-dive reviews focused on customer populations and risk typologies such as anti-money laundering and fraud. Support senior management with risk identification and mitigation via thematic testing plans, MI/control structures, and remediation of process enhancements while meeting Key Risk Indicators.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage relationships with stakeholders across financial crime risk governance functions, including sanctions, reputational risk, and financial crime detection teams.
•Develop thematic enquiries and perform deep-dive reviews using data outputs targeted at specific customer populations and emerging risks.
•Facilitate planning and execution of business risk assessment activity and recommend ways to recognize and manage business risk.
•Provide oversight to identify financial crime risks and mitigate them via thematic and ad hoc reviews, supporting senior management.
•Contribute to business risk framework compliance and operational risk culture, maintaining control structures/MI and supporting remediation of process issues enhancements.

Key Requirements

•Expert level understanding of risk and controls and the ability to conduct business risk assessments.
•Possess ACAMS or ICA certifications.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills to ask the right questions and clearly communicate ideas and actions.
•Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across Lines of Businesses at a global and regional level.
•Good payments knowledge across markets, including understanding of GPS products, plus reasonable analytical skills.
