Key Responsibilities

  • •Design comprehensive test strategies for WAF security rules, threat detection, and attack mitigation capabilities.
  • •Create and maintain test frameworks and automation infrastructure for functional, security, performance, and integration testing, including CI/CD test pipelines.
  • •Serve as the primary quality escalation point for critical enterprise customer issues, performing deep-dive investigations and validating fixes.
  • •Execute security and network test cases using OWASP Top 10 validation and attack simulation, including building test harnesses across protocols (Layer 3-7).
  • •Mentor QA engineers, define quality standards and metrics, and champion shift-left and test-driven practices.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of software quality assurance and test engineering experience, including at least 3 years in security-focused testing roles.
  • •3+ years testing WAFs/firewalls/CDNs/load balancers/reverse proxies or similar security/networking products.
  • •Proven experience handling enterprise customer quality escalations and validating complex security deployments.
  • •Strong experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks for large-scale distributed systems.
  • •Strong programming skills for test automation (e.g., Python, Go, Java) and experience with test frameworks.
