Job Summary

Support lab development of cutting-edge GPU technology by executing standardized test and troubleshooting workflows. Manage server upgrades, repairs, and OS provisioning while installing, configuring, and maintaining server and coolant platforms. Perform diagnostics and reliability/environmental stress testing, document and escalate incidents, and collaborate closely with Services and Engineering teams. This hands-on role emphasizes analytical attention to detail, safety, and results in a fast-paced, multi-project lab environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage server upgrades, repairs, automated OS provisioning, and rebuild projects as required with Services and Engineering teams.
•Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain server and coolant platforms.
•Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting following standard procedures.
•Communicate, report, and escalate incidents to appropriate AMD leadership.
•Execute reliability testing including environmental and mechanical stress tests (shock and vibration, EMCI, Temp Cycling).

Key Requirements

•Strong semiconductor chip technology knowledge with experience in a lab environment.
•Hands-on experience testing and troubleshooting semiconductor GPUs, switches, and CPUs in a data center lab environment.
•Ability to manage server upgrades, repairs, automated OS provisioning workflows, and rebuild projects as required.
•Knowledge of Windows Server OS and ability to install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain server and coolant platforms.
•Preferred credentials include CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Server+ (or equivalent) and/or an associate degree in relevant fields.
