Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage server upgrades, repairs, automated OS provisioning, and rebuild projects as required with Services and Engineering teams.
  • •Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain server and coolant platforms.
  • •Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting following standard procedures.
  • •Communicate, report, and escalate incidents to appropriate AMD leadership.
  • •Execute reliability testing including environmental and mechanical stress tests (shock and vibration, EMCI, Temp Cycling).

Key Requirements

  • •Strong semiconductor chip technology knowledge with experience in a lab environment.
  • •Hands-on experience testing and troubleshooting semiconductor GPUs, switches, and CPUs in a data center lab environment.
  • •Ability to manage server upgrades, repairs, automated OS provisioning workflows, and rebuild projects as required.
  • •Knowledge of Windows Server OS and ability to install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain server and coolant platforms.
  • •Preferred credentials include CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Server+ (or equivalent) and/or an associate degree in relevant fields.
