Job Summary

Build and operate the data platform that enables reliable, accessible data across PRYPCO. Design and maintain efficient data pipelines, automate manual workflows, and translate ambiguous requirements into scalable solutions with Product, Engineering, and Data Science. Set data standards, manage the company data registry, and support internal users via dashboards and tools. Improve platform performance through best practices in coding, testing, CI/CD, and maintenance.

Job Function: Software Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and maintain reliable data platforms and end-to-end data pipelines while automating manual workflows.
•Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to turn ambiguous requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
•Establish and enforce data standards, maintain documentation, and manage the company-wide data registry.
•Onboard and support platform users and communicate updates and insights via dashboards, bots, and internal tools.
•Plan and execute organization-wide platform improvements, defining best practices for coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (or related) or equivalent practical experience.
•Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Unix shell scripting.
•Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining custom ETL pipelines.
•Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
•Experience with distributed data processing and query engines such as Trino, Apache Spark, Snowflake, and BigQuery.

Education:Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field
