Key Responsibilities

  • •Follow safe operating practices and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on vehicles in a shop environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair vehicle systems (electrical/brake/cooling, engine electronics, steering systems, engines, transmissions, clutches, differentials, etc.) using appropriate test instruments.
  • •Document repair work by completing DOT forms and recording repair order details and photos using company devices/applications.
  • •Coordinate with Service Writer and Shop Manager to assess customer needs, obtain parts, approvals, and purchase order/RO information; assist other technicians when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED plus 3 years’ experience in a related field (or other equivalent combinations, such as 5 years’ experience).
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain a Driver Qualification File.
  • •Valid DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain within 72 hours of hire).
  • •Possess and supply the hand tools needed to perform job duties.
  • •ASE T8 (PMI) certification (or obtain within 18 months).
