Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive design work supporting facility-based design projects within the site capital project’s group.
  • •Provide piping and mechanical design for capital and service projects in a fast-paced environment and issue construction packages.
  • •Conduct field as-built and measurement activities as required to support project design work.
  • •Interface with engineers, operators, maintenance, environmental, and other plant personnel to understand design considerations.
  • •Guide more junior piping and mechanical designers and lead design reviews prior to issuing for construction.

Key Requirements

  • •15 to 20 years of industrial design experience, preferably in chemical manufacturing.
  • •Highly experienced in designing piping and mechanical systems used in chemical manufacturing facilities.
  • •Read and fully understand P&IDs and plant engineering specifications, standards, guidelines, and technical documents for the discipline.
  • •Familiar with industry codes such as ASME, API, and others related to piping and mechanical design.
  • •Proficiency with MicroStation and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
