Key Responsibilities

  • •On-site supervision of the LWD process, including tool preparation, data acquisition, log generation, and quality control.
  • •Serve as lead engineer on most jobs, ensuring customer service quality and that data is accurate and delivered on time.
  • •Provide technical consultation on mud hydraulics, Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) planning, formation evaluation, drilling tendencies, mud system, and BHA dynamics.
  • •Test tools and equipment before, during, and after each job; identify and correct operational problems to prevent or minimize service impact.
  • •Complete required forms, databases, and reports (e.g., service vouchers, radiation site survey, EJCS report) and complete daily LWD reporting to onsite/offsite teams.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years of field experience in LWD.
  • •Proficiency with LWD software and ability to provide advice and analysis to the client representative at the well site.
  • •Completion of basic M/LWD training program and successful completion of required company tests or task guideline requirements.
  • •Ability to read and interpret formation well logs and interpret directional survey information and other well site data.
  • •Possess relevant on and offshore safety certificates.
