Key Responsibilities

  • •Own, configure, and administer the bank’s BlackLine financial systems platform to ensure reliability, scalability, and alignment with accounting/reporting requirements.
  • •Manage BlackLine lifecycle activities (patch testing, release management, feature evaluation) and maintain system documentation (configuration logic, data flows, dependencies, procedures).
  • •Serve as primary controllership subject matter expert for financial systems, including Oracle Fusion General Ledger, partnering with IT for configuration, testing, and feature adoption.
  • •Drive finance automation, AI, and data initiatives across accounting operations, close, and reporting, leveraging low-code tools and process reconfiguration to reduce manual effort.
  • •Lead controllership technology adoption and enable accounting staff, while partnering cross-functionally and supporting external/internal audit related to financial systems (walkthroughs, testing support, evidence production).

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within banking or financial services.
  • •4+ years of experience in systems analysis or application administration/development.
  • •Proficiency with Oracle Fusion ERP and BlackLine (or similar financial reconciliation systems).
  • •Advanced Excel expertise, including complex formulas and Power Query, plus reporting/analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Business Objects, SmartView, Alteryx).
