Production Manager Trainee

Develop comprehensive knowledge of plant operations and manufacturing processes through on-the-job training under a mentor. Learn panel and lumber grades, lumber math, and how to maximize cuts, yields, and material utilization. Build capability in production scheduling, budgeting/expense control, product costing, continuous improvement, safety, and HR policies, while supervising in line with policies and touring other UFP facilities and customer locations.
