Job Summary

Lead end-to-end technical engagements in the sales cycle, from RFIs through RFPs/RFQs, including project management and participation in POCs. Strengthen Fortinet product and competitive knowledge, present confidently via whiteboarding and technical materials, and maintain accurate deal and account technical activity in Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the technical aspects of the sales cycle, from RFIs through RFPs/RFQs, including project management and active participation in POCs with internal teams and customers/partners.
•Understand and interpret customer technical requirements to build solutions that outperform competitor offerings.
•Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners in close collaboration with your sales partner.
•Continuously improve knowledge of Fortinet products/solutions, maintain understanding of the competitive landscape, and support long-lasting protection against evolving threats.
•Position Fortinet solutions to customers via remote or in-person communication and maintain accurate activity/contact/account technical information in Salesforce.

Key Requirements

•Have a strong aptitude for security technology, including encryption and authentication, with knowledge of network security and intrusion detection.
•Prior pre-sales engineering experience managing end-to-end technical aspects of deals through technical closure.
•Demonstrate problem-solving skills and how they have driven key wins in your organization.
•Build and maintain customer relationships and communicate technically with external and internal stakeholders.
•Strong understanding of security solutions such as firewalls, routing, SD-WAN, switching, IPsec, SSL-VPN, anti-DDoS, WAF, SIEM, SOAR, authentication, MFA/2FA, endpoint security, sandboxing, email security, and SASE.
