Job Summary

Lead the Payment Ecosystem Risk and Control (PERC) function for Visa’s Latin America and Caribbean region, using intelligence to combat and disrupt fraud and high-profile data breaches. Drive fraud disruption capabilities through Risk-as-a-Service, triage and report incidents, and guide development of tools and investigative procedures while ensuring compliance with WTDIC requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as resident subject matter expert on fraud types, trends, and emerging threats in the LAC market and pursue mitigation opportunities.
•Partner with Cyber Security, Government Engagement, Risk Product, LAC Risk Teams, Account Executives, and Sales to deliver Risk Intelligence to clients and stakeholders.
•Lead external compromise events to proactively identify and contain high-profile data breaches using payment intelligence and fraud solutions.
•Enable delivery of fraud disruption capabilities at scale for clients through Risk-as-a-Service initiatives, including triaging fraud reports and leads.
•Manage a portfolio of premier clients to ensure adherence to What to Do if Compromise (WTDIC) requirements and publish alerts to at-risk accounts using CAMS.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or at least 8 years with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or at least 3 years with a PhD.
•Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree in information technology, computer science, or computer engineering preferred.
•8+ years as a payment risk and/or cyber-security information security manager.
•Superior knowledge of payment risk and cyber-security practices, including developing and implementing policies and risk frameworks.
•Advanced knowledge of information security standards and best practices (e.g., PCI, EMV, NIST) and security certifications (CISSP, CEH, CHFI, SEC+, Net+).
