Key Responsibilities

•Assist in positioning and preparing the patient as directed by the surgical team and ensure specimens are labelled and dispatched to the laboratory.
•Provide immediate post-operative care.
•Take charge of the clinical area in the absence of an advanced practitioner ensuring safety for patients, visitors and staff.
•Adhere to procedures for use of supplies and ordering requirements for the Department as directed.
•Ensure accurate collection of data in relation to theatre activity and contribute to peri-operative patient care planning and evaluation.

Salary: 37,080 - 46,890 annually

Key Requirements

•NMC Registered Nurse (Adult and/or Children) or HCPC registered with a Diploma or Degree in Health Care Studies / ODP Level 3 NVQ / ODA 752
•Previous perioperative experience in Robotics Gynaecology, Urology, Thoracic is essential
•Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and support with shared tasks
•Provide immediate post-operative care and assist in positioning/preparation of patients as directed by the surgical team
•Accurate data collection related to theatre activity and adherence to departmental procedures
