Job Summary

Perform detailed quality inspections and first-piece approvals across adidas manufacturing departments. Audit production for accuracy to color/graphic specifications, garment numbers, placement, registration, and print/embellishment quality. Use in-process AQL standards, stop production when defects are found, record quality data in AMPS/Smart Sheets, and maintain 6S and Lean Manufacturing standards while supporting cross-functional areas on the same shift.

Key Responsibilities

•Inspect and approve first-piece production for accuracy in color, placement/registration, print technique, and style/graphic and order completeness.
•Conduct ongoing production line inspections for screen print, embroidery, and heat transfer defects and quality issues during runs.
•Stop production immediately when defects are found and notify the run team; escalate to shift supervisor or manager if issues persist.
•Cross-train and perform audits across multiple manufacturing areas, including Screen Print, TechFit, Digital, Pad Print, and Sublimation.
•Record quality data in AMPS/Smart Sheets, maintain 6S and Lean Manufacturing standards, and support production counts and make-ups.

•Strong visual acuity and color-analysis ability; ability to read, write, count, and distinguish colors.

•Ability to safely use equipment such as RF scanners, box knives, and pallet jacks.
•Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
