Design, evaluate, test, and plan SATCOM and network systems for government customers. Analyze and simulate satellite communications networks, manage hardware and subsystems (LNA/LNB, FDMA/TDMA modems), and coordinate end-to-end delivery from concept through deployment while ensuring TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and US citizenship requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze, design, model, and simulate communications systems, subsystems, and algorithms for satellite communications networks.
•Evaluate lease costs for space segments, bandwidth requirements, and frequency management.
•Provide expert operations and maintenance support of antenna controllers, LNA/LNB, up and down converters, FDMA/TDMA modems (military and commercial).
•Provide support for commercial satellite acquisition procedures and oversee complex engineering tasks for integrated SATCOM systems.
•Manage SATCOM projects from conceptualization to delivery of hardware solutions and prepare detailed plans, systems specifications and equipment operating procedures.

•10+ years of directly related experience in System Engineering
•TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
•Master’s Degree in any technical discipline, or the equivalent
•US Citizenship Required: Yes
•Proven expertise with satellite/RF systems analysis including link budgets, noise analysis, modulation/demodulation signal analysis, and forward error correction coding
