Key Responsibilities

  • •Control the number of drivers needed throughout the day and adjust to maintain company goals.
  • •Coordinate and schedule ready-mix concrete deliveries to customer job sites while maximizing fleet utilization.
  • •Act as the communication link between customers, drivers, plant personnel, sales representatives, and operations management.
  • •Monitor production schedules, delivery routes, and fleet availability; respond to changing job site conditions and customer requests.
  • •Assist drivers by knowing the delivery areas and determining travel time and best plant location to service jobs.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • •Prior experience dispatching, logistics, transportation, customer service, or related experience is preferred.
  • •Experience in ready-mix concrete, construction materials, trucking, or construction industries is highly desirable.
  • •Knowledge of Database software (Command Alkon), internet software, order processing systems, spreadsheet software, and Word processing software.
  • •Strong customer service skills and ability to read, write, and follow instructions clearly.
