Job Summary

Lead and coach the travel and expense team, assigning and prioritizing work to ensure timely, accurate expense report processing. Serve as the primary contact for escalated travel and expense issues, meet team service-level agreements, and help maintain a positive performance-focused environment. Train staff on travel/expense policies and systems, evaluate existing processes, and identify efficiency improvements while collaborating with other team leads to align resources.

•Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to travel and expense team members.
•Assign and prioritize tasks to ensure timely and accurate processing of expense reports.
•Handle escalations and resolve travel/expense issues professionally and in a timely manner.
•Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated travel and expense-related inquiries.
•Train employees on travel and expense policies and system usage, and identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.

Key Requirements

•Associates Degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
•Experience in expense reporting finance (or adjacent field) in a large, multi-business unit organization.
•Experience with government accounting concepts, including allowability rules and regulations around expense reporting.
•1+ year of experience with Concur or other travel and expense operating systems.
